MY ACADEMIC AND CLINICAL BACKGROUND

WhatsApp Image 2025-05-02 at 15.46_edited.jpg

I have been practicing psychoanalysis since 2011 in a private practice and have over 14 years of clinical background. I have extensive experience in welcoming and addressing subjective urgencies, both in the university context and within the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS).

I earned my degree in Psychology from the University of Brasília (UnB), focusing my undergraduate training on clinical psychology and the study of psychoanalysis. My initial internship experiences involved individual and group work with adults, as well as support during the early stages of psychotic crises. These experiences confirmed my decision to pursue training in psychoanalysis, and from the very beginning, the study of Freud and Lacan has guided my practice. Subsequently, my clinical work in private practice with psychosis led me to move to Rio de Janeiro to continue my training. I then completed a specialization in Psychoanalytic Clinical Practice at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

In the period between completing my undergraduate degree and moving to Rio de Janeiro, I continued my study of psychoanalytic theory at the university, specializing in Psychoanalytic Theory and pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Culture, both at UnB.

Throughout this period, I was deeply involved in psychoanalytic training, following the apparatus recommended for analyst formation, including supervision, personal analysis, and study in small groups. In addition, I participated in seminars by fellow psychoanalysts and events organized by psychoanalytic schools.

I am a member of the Forum of the Schools of the Lacanian Field – Diagonal Network Brazil, and I was a founding member of the now-defunct Forum of the Lacanian Field – Diagonal Rio de Janeiro.
